Safety first. Price second. No exceptions.
Four rules we follow on every single box, whether it's headed across town or across the country.
Eligibility before price
Species policy, your approval, the carrier's written live-animal approval, lane, date and weather all get checked first. A carrier rate is a price, not permission.
Carrier scans, not GPS
You see confirmed carrier scans, with scheduled events and predictions labelled as exactly that. Between scans we don't know where the box is, so we won't fake a dot on a map.
Recipient confirms arrival
A delivered scan only means the box showed up. The recipient tells us how the animals are doing, with notes and photos, through a private link.
Claims reviewed by a person
Evidence rules are laid out up front, and a real person on our operations team reviews every claim. Protection is a service guarantee, not insurance.
Five steps from “can I ship this?” to “they made it!”
One form, five copies. Each one goes to whoever needs it next.

Scaly, slimy, finned and many-legged.
We ship approved parcels anywhere in Canada where carrier contracts permit. Some species need a quick look from our operations team first, and a few simply can't travel by parcel.

Know where to drop off before you drive there.
Plenty of carrier counters won't take live animals, and a wasted trip in February is nobody's idea of fun. Our map shows each drop-off point's acceptance status, where that status came from, and when it was last confirmed.
| Status | Count | Tally | Meaning |
|---|---|---|---|
| Accepted | 5 | Live animals accepted (confirmed) | |
| Unconfirmed | 2 | Acceptance unconfirmed | |
| Refused | 1 | Does not accept live animals | |
| Tracked | 8 | Carrier locations tracked |

Q.01Does a carrier rate mean my animal can ship?
Nope. A carrier rate is a price tag, not a permission slip. Before we show a bookable price, every shipment is checked against species policy, your organization's approval, the carrier's written live-animal approval, the lane, the ship date and the weather policy.
Q.02Is tracking live GPS?
No, and we won't pretend otherwise. Tracking shows confirmed carrier scans (each time the carrier scanned the box), plus clearly labelled scheduled events and predictions. Between scans, nobody knows exactly where the box is, so we don't guess.
Q.03The carrier says 'delivered'. Does that mean my animals arrived safely?
Not on its own. A delivered scan means the box changed hands. The person who opens it tells us how the animals arrived, with notes and photos, inside the claim window. That's the check that counts.
Q.04Which animals can I ship?
Reptiles, amphibians, aquatic livestock and invertebrates, shipped within Canada where carrier contracts permit. Birds, mammals, horses, cross-border or international moves, and managed courier or air travel aren't available through parcel services.
Q.05Is live-arrival protection insurance?
No. Live-arrival protection is a service guarantee under our terms, not a regulated insurance product. Its terms are still pending underwriting and legal review.
Q.06Does a good weather forecast guarantee a safe trip?
No. Canadian weather has a mind of its own. We use forecasts and Environment Canada alerts to flag ship dates outside a species' safe temperature range, and recheck before the label is bought, but no forecast can guarantee a safe trip.
